Beginners’ Dressmaking -
You can learn on this two day course, how to:
- Read a basic pattern
- Insert a zip
- Make buttonholes
- Mark each pattern piece
- Cut out accurately
- Work with the ‘nap’
- Make facings
- Use seam allowances
- Assemble pieces
- Finish off seams neatly

Since I learnt how to read the dreaded paper dressmaking pattern with you, I have gradually learnt so much more by trying out other styles.
